Ruby Whilock

Ruby joined our team in June 2021 as a trainee Chartered Accountant, having graduated from Exeter University with a 2:1 degree in Accountancy.  She is now looking forward to the next stage of her training and applying her knowledge in practice in the work place. In her spare time Ruby likes to cook for her family and enjoys walking her dog Bertie. Ruby has also been to Buckingham Palace to receive her Duke of Edinburgh Gold award! So she should do well in our  charity challenges!

Theepikan Nagulendran

Theepikan joined our team in June 2021 as an AAT apprentice having just completed his AAT Level 2 with an impressive Distinction. In his spare time, Thee loves to watch his favourite football team as well as Formula 1 racing.  When he is not watching sport he also enjoys cycling on a regular basis, and although he has not participated in any charity events yet, he is looking forward to joining in on our future events.

Hollie Wiles

Hollie joined our accounts team in January 2021 working alongside Matt James  and his team in the corporate department.  She has studied AAT to level 3 on a self-study basis  whilst working in her previous role as an office manager in industry. Once her AAT is completed, she has set her sights on the prestigious Chartered Accountancy qualification as the next stage of her career progression. She is a fluent French speaker having lived in France for over 10 years and loves running and walking.  Her last challenge was the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and she is hoping to take part

Kelly Robinson

Kelly initially joined  Geens, in an admin capacity,  a couple of weeks before the Coronovirus pandemic caused the first national lockdown. This was not an ideal environment to start a new job! However, as working from home presented many challenges to our staff, the admin support she was able to provide quickly became invaluable. She proved to be an excellent asset and we encouraged her progression into the profession as a trainee Chartered Accountant.  Kelly has previously worked in Stoke on Trent’s famous ceramics industry with her background in design and print, having graduated from Birmingham City University in 2014

Julie Briscoe

Julie joined Geens as Payroll Manager in February 2021 after many years at another local accountancy firm.  She has many years of experience in payroll having previously worked in the hospitality and recruitment sectors which, as you may imagine, are challenging payroll environments.  Not satisfied with her current skill set, she is independently studying for her AAT qualification to widen her knowledge. At home, Julie is kept busy with her 2 dogs and she also loves to travel, Italy being a favourite. Once the present restrictions posed by the pandemic are lifted, she intends to visit any more.
