Mitchell Washington

Mitchell also joined our accounts team this summer, having discovered a keen interest in accounting whilst studying A Level Business Studies at Newcastle-under-Lyme.  He has started his second year at the college and will be studying AAT Level 2 whilst working alongside our Accounts and Audit team as an apprentice.  A little bird tells us that he can play the guitar and has several accoustic and electric guitars in his collection, we are looking forward to our invitation to his first gig.

Aaron Knox

After a year of studying A Levels at Newcastle-under-Lyme College, Aaron started his second year at the college studying AAT level 2.  He joined the accounting team here at Geens as an apprentice and will continue to study whilst working and gaining the practical skills and knowledge alongside his studies.  Outside of work  he enjoys playing football and has put his name forward for our next charity challenge.

Margaret Furreddu

Margaret joined in 2018 after returning to Stoke-on-Trent from a number of years on the south coast. With many years experience in payroll she will be busy helping many of our clients who prefer to leave this element of their business to us.  In her spare time Margaret enjoys the theatre and has been seen in the past, abseiling down the YMCA building in Hanley for charity so she should feel at home here. Alistair Currie

Alistair studied at Sixth Form for 1 year and then joined Newcastle-under-Lyme College studying AAT Level 2.  He passed with distinction in June 2018, which is a superb achievement, before entering the world of work and joining our Accounting Team in July. He will continue his AAT studies alongside his work with us.   Outside of work Alistair plays Hockey and Cricket with teams local to where he lives.  He is also a Scout Leader at a local Scout Group. We think we can persuade him to join our next charity challenge.

Josh Draycott

Josh joined us straight out of college having completed his A-Levels and first level of AAT at the same time – which is quite an achievement. He has now completed his AAT and ATT qualifications  following in Chris’s success with the top mark in the country for the IHT Trust and Estates exam. He has decided to continue his studies and is undertaking the coveted CIOT exams. He works closely with Chris on our many trust and high net worth clients. In his free time he enjoys running and football. He is famous for falling off his bike 5 minutes
